Once the prized vineyard of Len Evans, a pioneer of modern Australian wine, Leogate Estate has flourished under Bill and Vicki Widin’s custodianship since 2007. From this historic Brokenback Vineyard in Pokolbin and the organically farmed Zeal’s Vineyard near Mudgee. 

Leogate Estate produce multiple varieties including Chardonnay, Semillon, Verdelho, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer.

Vales Wines is a simple concept - they just want our wines to be a little different, really accessible and drinkable.

They achieve this by sourcing grapes that are carefully and sustainably grown, making sure they are harvested at the right times and utilising winemaking techniques that are not too forced. They like to keep things simple and not impose too much on the grapes.
